long time no blog

hello! it's been about a week since i've blogged last, and that's because i have been SO SICK. my chest is so congested that i can't breathe very well. needless to say, i have been in nothing but pajamas for the last week, so there were no outfits to take pictures of.

yesterday was my birthday (21, yay!), so i went out with my friends and got a wonderful pina colada for my first legal drink in america. so yummy! i got a bottle of wine, a teapot, a book about lady gaga, and matthew made me an entryway table. i am a blessed 21 year old.

be true to your school

So, today was a full day of the week. I basically do school work from morning 'til night on Wednesdays, so I like to wear whatever is comfortable. A simple skirt with a belted, loose top did the trick. I'm carrying my super book-filled bag, which looks like it's bursting at the seams. These were taken on a beautiful part of campus, by the creek.

I did a wonderful shoot with a friend today, which I will post later. I asked her to take my outfit photos today, and for never using a dslr, I think she did pretty well.

This is one of my favorite dresses, but after seeing the photos, I realized it makes me look a little bottom heavy. That definitely won't stop me from wearing it though! I always feel like a ballerina or ice skater, which I think is why I love it.

This week is certainly going to be a busy one (papers and memorizing Chaucer! yuck!), so I probably won't have time to take proper outfit photos. This isn't the way I wanted to start off my brand new style blog, but a photography update is better than none! Here are some photos of our visit to Matthew's parents' friend's farm (that was a mouthful). It was a beautiful day with plenty of sunshine and cool fall air. There were so many Monarch butterflies!

first blog post

Hello internet! In case you don't know me, my name is Anna Rose. I'm a 21 year old student from central Pennsylvania. I spend my time taking pictures, reading books, and relaxing with my boyfriend and two kitties. Sometimes I do homework, too. But only sometimes.

I attend Penn State University, majoring in English. I graduate in 2011, after which I plan to take a year off to travel (Europe, hopefully).

I have an unabashed love for all things cute. I especially love cats, which makes my obsession with my two lovelies even more intense. 

This is Sister. She's my first love, my first baby. I adopted her with her brother, Brother. Unfortunately, Brother passed away while being fixed. Sister has been lonely, so I adopted another little one to keep her company.

Olive is a 6 month old tortoise shell kitty. She's shy but quite the talker. Sister doesn't like her right now, but hopefully that will change! Any advice as to how to make them get along? 

Last, but not least, this is Matthew. He is my everything (cliche, I know, but true). I'm sure you will be seeing a lot of him, and the kitties. This is my little life. Here's to hoping it's a good read!
